How does high voltage change the wavelength you can use? (just asking because I don't know)

Is it because you merely need to add energy to the atom and the electron to assist the voltage? rather than make use of direct photon ionization?

alright it is the same concept as the hydrogen fracturing process on the electrons......

when you add energy to an atom you are basically saturated it with too much energy that it normally holds so in direct consequence of doing this the outer electron of the oxygen atom moves farther and farther apart towards the positive electrode and is eventually removed and instantly used by the EEC in hte ionizer.......now that is with high voltage......if you are going to do it with LEDs you better have the exact diode to allow this to happen.....now energy is energy......regardless if it is potential kinetic or light.....ir performs work.....so even saturating hte atom with light energy will do the same thing.......so at the time there were no UV LED'S keyword LEDs available that worked at the proper frequency to ionize oxygen.......so stan used his already high voltage VIC to (let's say theoretically) pull the oxygen electron out 75 percent and then use the inrared LED to pull it the remaining 25 percent of the way.

Ok, so now we have the proper wavelength LEDs? we could make a gas processor without high voltage? Or still do both and just have a better one.

well yes we might be able to make a gas processor without high voltage with just LEDs......but it doesn't mean the light will be evenly spaced throughout the cell and hit every oxygen particle on the pulse times.....where if we have a high votlage electrical field every single particle has to go through that field........so it is better if we used high voltage and the exact UV led's......or you can stick to the patent and use the infrared......either way use high votlage!.....it is a field wher eevery oxygen molecule will have to pass through....the chances of ionization are higher with the use of voltage and light.

I used 40 pcs UltraBright, 5mm UV LED`s in a tube cell August last year, and got no improvement in water splitting.

Hope you will get a better result.

Because it is not to split water, but to aid HV ionizing (and destabilizing) of the combustible- and ambient air gases, remember?
Still, it is good you've tried this

correction:
led interaction with water in wfc does get mentioned in techbrief.

Hey, Thanks for sharing your test results.

I'm going to do several tests including HV, water mist, ionize HHO.. a hole bunch of tests.
