Because of the scum that builds up in tap water with electrolysis I experimented with baffling the cathode from the anode and couldn’t produce scum at all. I am going to test flowing water through my tubes so they want be cooking my bubbles to see if this will keep the scum down. My cell is 4” round PVC and my settling tank will be 4” x 14” x 10” box shaped.
