How to break meyers ? a matter of possibilities
« on: October 27, 2008, 05:31:44 am »
Heres a possibility , breaking meyers is just a matter of possibilities , maybe this is one of the possibilities , i thought of this after somebody here suggested that the secondary was maybe bifilar on some weird variation of vic coil 6-1 . Does this look like 2 tesla coils hookup together ? This does look like it could offer some strange and unusual properties ? I thought that maybe the tap was for the 2 chokes 56/62 but maybe not.... maybe its for this weird secondary....

Theres also a possibility that this  might work on seperate cores chokes and transformer....

again we are not sure how it is wound 100% , its gotta be one of these 2 tho. The connections are probably not right also , it might not form a closed loop who knows ... its a matter of limited possibilities...

In the first 10 pages of the tech brief you will read that the secondary is dual wrapped. It also explains how the Upper choke more than Doubles the frequency to create a double pulse. I cant remember the exact pages i can only say the first 10 pages.

Maybe you can word search it for the word Bifilar, it should take you right to it, unless he spelt it differently.

Due to my Video Card and the Full Restore I had to do the other day i have no tech brief on my pc. I am on 56k and today i don't really want to take the time out and download it.

Perhaps if you have the tech brief it is very early into the text. I am almost certain it's there. I will see what i can do when i find time to re-download it. Would you like for me to remove my last post from your thread?

Well i assumed it was in the first 10 pages, i printed out the entire book and had each diagram on my wall, i had all text in a book in my hand. "I read the entire book". It is in there "some where." I have since taken all the papers off the wall and thrown the book away. It gets cluttered around here.

I took the time to read the book while walking around looking at all the diagrams on the wall several times. At one point he did say the secondary was bifilar wrapped, he may not have used the word "bifilar." I would have to sit back down and read the entire thing to find it.

"Just maybe i dreamed it" I cant be certain until i find it for myself again.  Besides, even if he did use bifilar secondary, all this would mean is he doubled the amps and decreased the resistance to gain higher voltages, thats all it would mean.
