i do have a lathe but the autofeed dosent work and has no compound which makes it a real pain in the but to  work with

I was thinking of buying a lathe for my delrin but since the coil will be so small i will use the delrin material as spacers..

But i will buy a piercing tool with different mesh to make holes in my material for the core and other sections to fit inside...

I'm lucky this will be a small coil because this delrin material is far from cheap...

Those tools are useful especially for sectionnal spools designs ...

In the future i will make a professional final version design on visio for the injector and might need your help , in the meantime this is irrelevant tho , there is no specific measures for this other than the gap space was between 0,2 mm to 0,5 mm ... Its up to the person really...

i started to make one according to the picture i have a while ago and stopped cause i dont have the ability to cut the ceramic for it with out the auto feed rate  it will chip or break   even thou the  plug/injector is kinda small their is a lot of details to it

Wow great initiative ...

yeah the ceramic to insulate both electrodes worries me a bit... But these are the kind of problems a guy like you can manage... Glass can be used as well... or any other high resistant low parasitic capacitance material

I basically will have to do this without any basic tools . But i think melting glass into both tubes will be easier...

I know people who make glass...

But this is the price to pay for going with this method , little more complex at the beginning ... but its the only single piece really... We are eliminating ALOT of variables so we basically concentrate 100% on the coil ... complete mastery and understanding of his powercoil design should be a priority ...


With the other method vacuum method it might seem more straightforward in the beginning ... But once you start reading about the different ways he used to keep the gas from recombining its more trouble.... More than 1 coil ... more variables .

 
Ive heard people like *he who must not be named* say that this vacuum method is easier because all you have to do is a steam resonator coil + a laser gas processor + air ionizer + a plasma  ignition... Lol we are already using hella more power just to start the process lol....

maybe you should start a thread just for the building and blue printing of the injector  and then people can get drawings pictures and material sources together   plus we wont be blowing up stevies

when i was looking to make the injector  i searched after a while and found a place upstate new york that sold a two part ceramic  that could be  cure in house hold oven  the stuff had the same dielectric strenght of sparkplug material and only had a shrinkage rate of 2 percent i think
