H2 only
« on: August 28, 2008, 08:53:56 am »

Hi guys new to the forum. I am a tech at a chemical plant and part of my duties are the operation of the boilers. One of the things we monitor is excess o2 in the feed water system. (The extra O2 causes corrosion in the boiler). The main way we control this is the addition sodium sulfate to the feedwater. See link:

http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/489114...ption.html

The sodium sulfate chemically ties up the oxygen and basiclly turns it into a form of hydrogen sulfate.

So what I have in mind is mixing up a solution of this in a large bubbler tank using a fish tank bubbler. I doubt the gas will be oxygen free but it should keep the O2 sensor on my car happy.

ubt from what i've read its not pure h2 that would come out but h2s which is poisonous.....with the nervous system being the most effected if durations of inhaling or constant exposure occur.....

True, H2s in large amounts is deadly. .As most combustable gases are in one form or another.
The sodium sulfate only reacts with oxygen. The h2s is produced as the sodium sulfate degrades. Does not effect the H2 in the hho gas. The amount of H2s should be small as most of it should stay in solution in the bubbler and what is present will be combusted.

I plan on "borrowing" the portable gas analyzer from work this weekend to run some test. If there is any intrest I will post my results>

I would never mess with chemicals like that.

There's no reason to be needing chemicals with Stan's & Dingle's systems.

It's one thing the EPA could use to step in and stop everything.

For all the people that use chemicals in their cells Kerry is doing
what reads as a perfect experiment.
He will analyze the gas with his meter and this will give him a result.
I'm sure he'a not one to poison himself or others.
How do we advance if we don't test?
Good luck with the test.
