yay!! so here is the break down.....i first hooked up two probes to my analog oscope....one to the pwm output and on to the toroidal transformers output.....wave form is not distorted and is amplified in voltage....(50% duty cycle...i think that is with my mark-sapce turned all the way down hence a 1:1 ratio 50% )6 volts in 12 volts out (as explained here
http://www.eleinmec.com/article.asp?28).....i looked up the math and from the patents meyers vic transformer will only put out around volts 12-15 volts from the 12 volt 50% duty cylce which becomes 6 volts in side........my primary covers the core completely, while my secondary covers only 3/4ths...and at a certain frequency range the toroid will sing......so all in all it works and the primary is completely isolated from the secondary which is the main concept of this transformer.....no electrical leakage will occur when step charging the capcitor.....off to the last piece the bifilar coil!!!
i'm honestly happy that the first transformer i build actually works....i didn't want to sit here for and hour winding 600 turns for nothing....im not a complete idiot after all.
