I do not know if this is electrolysis. The man uses electric current of 220 V.. In the minute 2:58 something catches fire inside.   I do not know what it is. Do you help me to consider it? Somehow he gets vapor. The metal grate is a kind of wick, that is maintained hot in red
I don't know what that adds to the water..Can it be alcohol? I do not believe that it be acid..

I think i understood it...

when water vapor meets melting hot iron or other metal it becomes hydrogen... by the oxidation of the metal...

If you look on how the geet is working, and how other methodes work on creating hydrogen, then i think that this cooker is using a bit electrolysis and a red hot waterheater, which also might heat up the steam.
The heater might be of iron, which would provide even more hydrogen.
And yes, he is using alcohol for lowering the burnrate of the flame.
He needs some carbons to do this. Alcohol is a good provider of carbons.

The queerness of all this is
 1. The man uses 220 AC (in electrolysis the normal thing is AD). Some adapter is not appreciated
 2. Make good use of gas directly without bubbler hho and without filter and it does not seem dangerous
Everything seems so simple!

He might have a rectifier inside his heater to create dc from ac...
Or do you know more of this inventor?

I think he simply makes water vapor, probably pulsing 200v dc to the water ... and makes a step down transformer to put high current for melting the iron and make the reaction... if you could sell the iron oxide it would become economically viable...

A modified MOT could be useful for that...

Yes, it seems that it runs an extreme electrolysis directly plug as you said in latest reply and turned on the gas without fear directly. We have to try this!
