I like the idea of the roll pins.
 I was thinking of screws,
And insetting the ends.
But the pins would be easier,
And I could still band it with my hose clamps   8)
Now , All I need a day stretcher, If anyone has an extra one  ;D

Thanks Again

Spike,
On second thought, the roll pin would be kind of permanent and difficult to remove due to the fact that they are designed to be pushed through.  I think a pull dowel would be a better solution.  This way you can still disassemble it for servicing.

Possibly some sort of tie-rod clamping assy.   Since the failure was pressure related and not a flashback, try and think how to strengthen the non-threaded joints.    Roll pins might weaken the adjacent material and would definitely leak if they went thru to the cavity.

External clamping pressure might be ugly, but tenable

It's definitely a thought.
I just wish I knew how the pressure was before it blew.
It might have been a good thing.

Again a big WOW!
Very good Spike!
You are having the best results i ever have seen.
I ll add them to my testresult excelsheet.

Question: What about using plain tapwater without additives on the same level of power. Can you try that one for me?
