Its normal copperwire.

Stan said that it didnt matter.
He filed patents with resistance wire and with normal copperwire just to prevent other people copying and modifing his patent and make one their own.

the only thing the resistive wire does is that it become the load.. i tried with some nickel chrome wire when you connect the load the voltage drops inside the coil...

if your cell has 1 ohm for example and you have 99 ohm coil and you apply 100v to it it will have 1 v on the cell or so

except if the capacitance is caused by the copper electron bounce on out side of wire
and changes which stainless

some thing that is not immediately obvious unless re making the exact round  transformer vic design by Meyers
