Tested this setup yesterday.
Using a 2mm gap 3" insulated tube cell
Pulsed the primary with a 50%dutycycle squarewave from about 200hz to 20khz.
found 2 sweet spots were the VIC resonated that were @ about 4.5khz and 14khz.
However unfortunately there were no phase shift as I was especting  :(  i.e. voltage sinewaves were same in amplitude and in phase at the +ve and -ve terminals, and therefore no substential potential difference across the cell.

What I`v learn from these 3 experemnts is that1/ water in between the electrodes should be totaly isolated from ground.
2/ earth ground connected to SM isolated ground seem to help in achieving VIC resonance better.

Still disappointed with the results so far ???

Hi Webmug.
Yes, my test setup consists of 4 different cells and experiments were done to each one individually for diffirent capacitance value purposes. Cells were encased in pvc and it was designed so that water can circulate through in between the exitors.
the 4 cell specs are:
1) 6" long 2mm gap
2) 3" long 2mm gap
3) 6" long 1mm gap
4) 3" long 1mm gap

I can show you some pics of the construction but maybe i will create a new thread

Yes that is the next step. I`v built 3 VICs and now the task is to match them to a cell. What I intend is to built twelve 3" insulated cells and by connecting them in series/parallel while experimenting there might be a matched combination between the VIC and wfc.

After spending some time with this VIC I managed to get the 180deg phaseshift without the cell connected. The negative choke should be flipped. You cannot just flip the terminals, you must iether wind the choke the other way round if the chokes bobbin is one piece or if bobbins are seperate you can revolve the -ve choke. This is the only way to achive symetrical waves. In the clip below I`m getting resonace at 12.5khz. and as the cell is connected the signal is killed.

Hey Lads thanks for all the good work and experimenting you all do it is appreciated as im sure there are others like me who at the moment dont yet have the resources available to experiment like you do.

a thought crossed my mind. Reflecting back to the sonic heater (in nz many years ago) where the inventor tuned 2 bell shaped pieces of metal to each other using music tunes to tell the sound of each and as a pair, formed a crucial part to their equation of having their device working when they applied both a voltage that had a waveform to it.

might there be a possibility for both wfc cells and water heater devices may require a tuned set/pair of electrodes to function in tune with the vic/chokes and the waveform/voltages applied to them...?

Hi, hydrogenmask. I want to ask you about the cell resistance. Because mainly that value shunts out all the resonance phenomena before anything happens. This of course depends on the water type used.
