I have no idea what kind of abuse they will take (KOH, NaOH, etc... How many amps etc...)
I bought 2 years ago some of PEM.
Very expensive indead. Took me 5 minutes to burn it into pieces........ :'(
The pem may NEVER touch your plates....meaning you need at least 3 mm space on each site of the pemm.
The material also expands when the water gets warm......and looses up...as in my case, and touched the electrode and then shrinked and burned.
That was not much fun my all that money.
