Mystery device 12 Identified
« on: May 27, 2011, 14:19:18 pm »
Update Bubz has correctly identified this image!! :)

rwgresearch has posted an image similar to this image and attributes it to Stan Meyer,  It may be a stacked epg device or possibly a web-look a like. I think the image came from a Canadian research site  (Canadia patent?) where I saw it several years ago. When the image is rotated 180 degrees and when one attempts to read the nameplate, the nameplate is not readable.

The color temperature of the image seems to indicate a scanned image of an older color
photo where the green dyes are starting to fade

Because the nameplate is reflective, the RGB color axis will basically "mirror" the incident
light which skews a Pantone or photoshop color match to other Meyers nameplates.

I'll try a using a letter height/probable word text recovery program and some digital sharpening filters but with not having probable words  or knowledge of the language on the label, I am not too hopeful on this approach.

A clearer image or keywords as to what the device is would help in the photogrammetric analysis

Image 2 show that construction similar to other Meyers EPGs, such as the knobs, switches
aluminum bracket and transformer
