its not short, if it was any bigger i couldn't lift it when it was full of water lol, keep in mind the smaller the gap the shorter the tubes...

Went to my friend Richard's to work on tubes(he has his own machine shop!!!  ;D) Trued tubes up in the lathe, And milled the vents. tomorrow it's time for the leads

Got delayed with some unexpected household repairs. But finally finished my cell. I still don't have the parts for my control unit, so I hooked it up to my Sebring's battery jumper posts. And now I know I'm hooked ;D  .

It didn't take but a couple of seconds.  Today I will try to scrounge up an alternator and electric motor.  Also I ended up using bolts to the inner tubes, And SS welding rod on the outer tubes.  Thanks for the ideas, It's nice to have the experience of others
