HHO torch... A process of generating power.
« on: March 21, 2011, 03:40:06 am »
Can someone tell me what happens in this video?
The guy produces a current of about 1 volt DC with a HHO torch (flame log onto a piece of stainless steel).

A process of generating power ... Is it possible to retrieve the current through the torch?

This is not me. But it is very interesting as a result!

Any idea ... answer ... Go!

Looks to follow the same principals as the "Kelvin Water Dropper" to create a potential difference between the two elements. You can read more about this process here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelvin_water_dropper

HHO torch cannot be used to heat up air, to produce steam as in a boiler.
It can weld dissimilar metals jewellers love it
many plate cells use KOH added to the cell not sure the ratio it is smal I can explain why  and that why most of them use SS,   KOH used in the powerders form nast stuff and can be dangerious.
