Hi people,
So this is my page where I'll show you some of my experiments with regard to waterfuel technology. I know some of you here are pretty advanced researchers and I hope to learn from you getting the current project succesful. But first some info about myself.
I've been researching watergas for four years now in more and less active times. My main focus has been on brute force systems which I have build and sold though my website
http://www.hydrobooster.nl, a dutch website with info about watergas and a place where I sell tubesstyle boosters. I have a lot of hands-on experience with these cells and their effects on cars, trucks and motorcycles. I am currently testing some sandwich design boosters on 7 and 12 liter diesel engines with results of 8-16% more KM per tank with about 3 LPM Hydroxy added.
Although boostig engines performance with Hydroxy is interesting I've always wanted to run an engine on 100% waterfuel. When I was donated a new 5.5KW generator I decided that to be used to pursue that goal.
Attached you should find some photo's of the setup.
We've changed the magneto ignition to a points type ignition to eliminate waste spark. We have on-the-go adjustable timing which works like a charm. We tried to run it on a mix of Hydroxy, about 4LPM and mist but so far it won't sustain running. I guess the gas output of the elektrolyser is too little for the size of the engine. It's an 11 HP motor but I don't know the displacement of the engine.
We have been working on modifying the ignition to a CDI system that should work as a plasma spark system but have difficulty getting the plasma effect working on the engine. We use two 200V 200uf caps in series that is being fed from a large bridge rectifier and a flipflop relay that is connected to the points to control the swithing. I've used 50 1N5408 diodes in series from the LV plus of the bobin to the HV output lead. So far the spark disappears when we connect those diodes. Disconnected, we get a nice improved spark from the coil. Funny thing is that this system worked on the testbench.....?
So that's basically where we are right now, due to little time I haven't been able to troubleshoot the plasma circuit, I hope to get some support from you guys here.
My goal is to get this engine running and make it a selfrunner like Stefan Hartmann from Germany has. Another line of work of to pursue more advanced watersplitting tech where resonance is the key, as many of you know. There are a lot of changes going on in my life but I honestly hope that 2011 will bring us closer to successfully replicate resonant watersplitting systems.
I will come back soon and report on our progress and hope to see you all here @ IonizationX!
