btw, use a smal gap between the tubes...
The smaller, the better results!

I ll gues that if you have higher frequency AC, you will see maybe better results...converter?

I tryed the same thing a few months back, I burned up the wire leads when I turned the variac up to high. Steve is right I think, if we had higher frequency ac we could restrict amp flow just like the vic and prouduce hight voltage ac fields acriss the water without frying stuff.
have you made any progress?
