I have seen that schematic too. Its difficult to duplicate because there some blancs in.
If you can develop it, please do so.

This is a simulation I made for the circuit in the link. The 120deg phase shift part is shown clearly. Now you do not want on and offs to replicate the alternator, yo want clean sinewaves, therefore you would add op-amp filters to the 3 outputs. for variable frequency operation you will need switched capactor active filters.

the sine waves "has" to come from a transformer. the circuit looks good if its 120 degrees.

so who will be the first one to make a circuit of this and throw a 3 phase transformer onto it?

I already built the circuit, just need working 555 timers to test it all out and also putting in a variable power supply that too is in the mail, as they say.

For some reason it wont let me put a pic up of it.
