HHO rocket project by Steve. 100% efficient propulsion
« on: August 18, 2009, 13:55:45 pm »
Hi folks.

I made today my first water rocket and it was a very efficient one.. ;)

Here are my test results.

Flight time: 4 seconds
Consumed power: 1 BBP for 10 seconds. ( BP = 1 break boy power)
Distance: around 18 meters flight

Materials: 1 plastic bottle of a famous cola branch of 1.5 litre.
                1/4 litre of water
                1 cork
                1 bicycle airpump
                1 launch installation from NASA

Fill the bottle with 1/4 litre water.
Make a thru hole in the cork and put the hose of the pump in there.
Put the cork in  the bottle.
Place it upside down in the NASA rocket launcher.
Put the boy at work.
Ready for take off!!!!!

thats a very nice one;)
You can make it also with sodium bicarbonate and some water and vinegar. This way you don't need the air pump. You just put the sodium bicarbonate inside a paper and drop inside the bottle and than close it and get the position and enjoy the flight. ;)
