If you choose to go with tubes then it would be good to vent your tubes.

1.Unvented tubes will Sufficate
2.Unvented tubes will produce less hydrogen
3.Unvented tubes will help the cells run hotter
4.unvented tubes will draw more amps

Vented tubes.

1.vented tubes will be able to breath, produce more gas
2.vented tubes will produce more hydrogen
3.vented tubes will help the cells run cooler
4.vented tubes will draw less amps

to vent your tubes slots are cut in the top, a good figure is 1/4 by 1 1/2 on bigger tubes.

the vents on shorter tubes are slightly smaller.

i do not recommend you to vent your own tubes, i do recommend you to have it done  professionally.

if you choose to thread your tubes to make a connection like i did, over time the threads will wear.
i would recommend welding SS wire to the outer tube and SS to the inner tube.  you then make your connections from there.

i do not recommend you to band strap your tubes together, this will cause all the tubes thats touching to eat each other, i know this because i have done it.

please see how to make a top and bottom for your tubes in the other post.
