Does anyone know what material Stan used for his bobbins? I'm making some as soon as I can decide on a plastic. I was thinking maybe abs, delrin ect.. but I really have no idea what differences they will make?

Stan used delrin because it's easily machineable and widely available.

Do you think there would be any unwanted effects if I use a different plastic?

This is the VIC coil that I'm currently finishing up. It has the SS 430FR wire for the Chokes, which measure 11.7k ohms.
