how do you find the pulse generator? is it doing everything you need? (gating and freq range?)

are you using an SCR or transistor to pulse it?

your set up is looking good, once you get some chokes we should compare some results and see what we can figure out

in the video i made there is no pulsing by scr.. its hooked directly to the rectifier... there isnt any chokes involved ..   

right now im working on figuring out how this pulse generator works.. i was tryn to get a opto circuit with scr going yesterday.. some reson i couldnt get it to work..

from what i can tell about this pulse generator so far is it seems to pulse correctly as far as i can tell without a scope on it..  but when i switch it onto a gate mode sync or async the pulsing stops all together as if it dont work,,,

in the pic u can see sockets labeled enabling gate input, trigger output advanced and reference as well as trigger input ac...

im woundering if i need somthing to interact with the enabling gate socket to acheive the gating

if so that might just make it possible to some how contol with a pll circuit?

try and find a manual for it, search the model number
to hear the frequency i have a tiny speaker that i took out of a out of a microwave

i have tried to find some info the only thing i see is manuals selling for 75 bucks on ebay (more then i paid for the tool)

i ordered some optos like in stans setup had to order a higher current rectifier too..  hopping to be switching voltage soon..  im gonna attempt to use the pulse generator with the opto.. im able to get it to pulse a let so whats the diff right.

i got my amp meter hooked up and at the moment i am getting a gain of 1 amp per 10 volts increase..  100percent is pushing 10 amps and 10 volts is pushing 1..

out of the 120 volts only 100- 105 is showing rectified dc..

i've been using distilled water, though its probably not pure, but the resistance is probably still high, it measures about 1500 ohms across the cell, actual accuracy of that reading is unknown, i can go up to about 4 amps then i back off, trying not to over heat anything, and also we should never need more than 5 amps, that was the max of his system, and 3.3 amps in the other system, i also notice a drop in the rectified voltage, 125 volts when the dial is at 140

thanks don.. i got 10 pounds (1900ft)  of 18 awg in the other day...  i need a good sight for the choke cores.. any site suggestions would be great
