what if inside the cell there some kind of magic sand

Hey still alive =)  ;D

I was thinking about one thing bro... what if we put something else inside the water to have just a small amount of water actually inside the cell?

some sort of magic sand perhaps with sections and catalytic material distributed into the matrix

i was thinking about how to get the water split at a high rate

and if we get less water we get more resistance so its interesting to think what we could do with that

This is an interesting idea.  I wonder if each grain of sand would produce bubbles?  Sand, being a dielectric, will change the cell's capacitance; what will this do to the resonance frequency?  And will a much higher operating potential be required?

edit:  Back in the High School days, a trick which was going around was to take a foil and window glass capacitor with two sheets of glass and put a couple of drops of water between the sheets of glass.  The cap would then make a spark with around twice the energy as without the water.  This is because water has a much higher K than glass.  So adding sand to a WFC might reduce its energy storage.  However, some ceramics have a much higher K than water, so using these particles would increase the Cell's energy content.

adding potassium and sodium hydroxide allow for easy current to flow because it ionizes the molecules leaving them already with an electric charge so we have ions to deal with

however the concentration is the ions will form a double layer on a metal due to the free electrons available inside the metal, they basically go to the surface attracting the positive ions...

this is one of the problems since if it has a selectivity we could have a lower potential barrier to overcome.

another problem is related to the concentration if ions.. the higher is the number of ions the smaller is going to be the distance among them and as such it increase the force that holds them together equidistantly as a matrix in water...

i verified that potassium nitrate require much higher potential difference to have any significant flow of current... this happens because the ph is 7 and somehow the ions are much more strongly associated to each other...

this force between the molecules represent the function of a spring in a mechanical oscillator and in the electrical case its the same as a capacitance likewise the plates of capacitor will have a higher force if brought closer to each other.

if the spring constant is higher and the mass is the same in the case of the harmonic oscillator we get that the frequency increases.

in the capacitor case the closer the plates are the higher would be the capacitance and so the smaller the frequency...

im not total sure if the water case the oscillation would be a single stable frequency or if it would be a function of the amplitude value.

meaning for small oscillations the model is valid but as it increases the atoms will have to move for longer time to reach the start point again unless the speed of the molecules also are increased.. you see there is some variables to take into account if we want to send a signal that will keep it under resonance

from my understanding what stan said is that under resonant condition even a very small tiny dc voltage will produce a huge amount of gas (amps)...

the sand idea perhaps could work if we could make some of the grains conductive... they would act as kind of neutral plates... being able to bring the ions to its dual layer and probably ready to be affected

im thinking that maybe some platinum nanopowder or maybe nickel or palladium could work
 
i have some hexacloroplatinic acid here perhaps i could find a way to coat some grains and than mix this with not coated grains...

i also was thinking about making a barium titanate nanopoweder in dispersion on water.. the problem is that it would settle down on the botton of the cell if no active circulation is present..

i believe either could have the effect of reducing the potential required to start electrolysis and this is a great point...

we know that the vibrational frequencies of water is too high to make but guys i'm pretty sure water has a resonance at audio range because i have seeing my cell sing once

from my understanding the cell have a acoustic resonance and this would be ideally matched with the concentration of the ions and electrical circuit to happen all in same frequency range

the mechanical resonance of the movement of ions must match the resonance of the electrical circuit and for that the concentration change is a key !!!!!!!

guys i'm trying to do my best to be able to work on it but is being a hard time..

last month i worked as uber , i rent a car and drove for one month and went like shit... load of lost time, litte money and great deception.. but at least my stomach pain is going aways after one year... i solved my debts and now i'm positive on the account ... at least little over zero...

so i decided to find another way to make money so i can have some attention back to the project and improve my life a bit.. im 34 now and don't seems right to not being able to do anything...

the way im trying now is that i made a host plan for websites and also for a wordpress site builder software, and im planing to become YouTuber and blogger and also make websites and consultories for people wanting to grow their business online..

i would like to ask if any of you have experience on that and if yes or no if you want to help me somehow to put this together...

if i had unlimited money i would have all the time to do the experiments but is not even possible to have money without investing lot of time,.

what is the opposite of a liquid solution?

i mean what if there was more ions than water molecules? or there is so much that it could just short the circuit? wouldn't in this way the problem of the minimum potential to break solved somehow?

i mean using a kind of hydroxide sand and just feed vapor to it to control the amount of hydrogen generated?
