Why stan needed stanless steel for the voltage zones?

if no current should flows whatever metal could work... in totally pure water

but what if an electrolyte is needed? or a non-electrolyte?

Than the voltage zones should be able to survive this environment right.

When ions are dissolved on water they interfere in the intramolecular and intermolecular attraction forces to some extent....

i think is called depolarization or something like...
