Ya well a lathe would be great  but i think this can be made with delrin "spacers"

Delrin rods can be cut from pre-chosen diameters...

I think this coil at an absolute maximum will be 2 inches wide counting everything... It was a small all-on-1 coil ... Great news for amateur experimenters like us...

I think Outsourcing to EMachineShop might be worth looking into for the Bobbins instead of having to purchase lathes, acrylic, etc??..
I've put together a drawing with their software to create the Inner of the (2) Multi-Coil design bobbin.. (Still need to make an Outer Drawing.. )

Let me know what you think..
Inner-Bobbin Design - I've put this as 3" OD x 1" ID x 5" Height.. W/ 0.75" Lathed Grove (0.06" thick, 0.06" inbetween..) Can modifify if too thin on the Grooves.
Outer-Bobbin Design - I'm thinking 5.00" OD x 3.25" ID x 5" Height

Take a look at the attached image.. If this looks like it's worth it, we can finalize the design, and get this going for anyone interested..
