This is what I'm dealing with right now...
Based on my calculations:
...Results do not look good for my hopes of powering my 5Liter Mustang on just HHO on demand like Stan.
5.0Liter engine x 3000rpm = 15000 literpermin@3000rpm
30:1 air fuel ratio
500lpm of HHO @ 3000rpm
I need to be able to produce 500 Liters per min of HHO in order for my V-8 to run at WOT. (Wide Open Throttle)
The most I have seen is 1 Liter every 13 seconds. I need 100 times that production of HHO.
Then I decided to switch my A/F ratio to 42:1 and that would require 357LPM of HHO gas at WOT.
Good news is I read you can mix propane with hydrogen.
I'll use my propane carb with plans to mix the fuels because I do not think I will be able to produce enough HHO on demand to power such a large engine. I hope to develop the cell and gradually use less and less propane as my HHO gas output increases.

I want to input as much voltage as I can like how Hydrocars does it.
BTW Hydrocars, how many Liters per Min does your generator produce of HHO gas?

With the help of Oddball I questioned my calculation further...
I found a big mistake in my formula. The fact that its a 4 stroke engine would mean that its 1 in every 4 strokes will the cylinders need an air/fuel mixture...
5.0Liter engine x 3000rpm = 15000 literpermin@3000rpm
42:1 air fuel ratio
357Lpm of HHO @ 3000rpm
357/4(strokes)= 89.25Lph of HHO.
This is great because the numbers keep going down. I have reason to belive that this number is still not correct because as Oddball pointed out to me on e-mail if you do the same calculation for gasolines 12:1 air/fuel ratio it gives 312Lpm of gasoline. WTF??
So i'm still researching this topic. Will post back soon.

Thats not my intake. I think thats a Mopar. I have a Ford 302CID.
I do have the carb though.

This Propane carb has annular venturi boosters which is just how I want it.
I will remove the return springs on the throttle plates and secure them WOT. Completely opening the intake.
I will regulate the RPM of the engine with a valve that regulates the A/F ratio through the mixer. (carb)
Inside the vehicle will be a timing adjuster connected to a MSD digital ignition.

All I have to do is figure out this diode bridge to get the alt to put out voltage.
Today I'm going to radio shack to get a PC board so I can start putting my circuit together.
:D

I have decided that I want to increase the gap of my electrodes from .024 to .076 and this time its 316 from 304
I ordered up a set of 316 tubes so I'm going to modify my cell. Also the lids (top and bottom) are a PITA to seal up. You have to tighten the wing nuts really hard. I need to get a proper router bit and re-do that part as well. I have found a CC measuring device or container, call it what you want so soon i'll be measuring my output as well. I'm going to first test the output of my cell now and then after my modifications or upgrades soon.

I got these tubes to build my second cell. I think the small gap in my first cell was restricting air and water flow.
