pulsing the vic
« on: April 13, 2009, 17:33:04 pm »
you must send a analog varable 1-12 volt gated pulses into the positve of the primary which means a voltage regulator is pulsing one solid analog pulse with no gates within that specific pulse meaning the only frequency being applied on the positve is the gate..  you must have a gated switch on the primarys negative lead in order to be able to isolate ground  from earth.. that is where the frequency is being applied from 10khz up on the same gate frequency as the analog pulse with the same width. i think these 2 circuits will prove useful for pulsing the vic..

outlaw,
I think that is exactly right.  You described it in such a way that it makes me understand how the coil should work.  I think ? But I see what you are saying and it makes perfect sense.  GOOD THINKING

however i do not understand why the analog waveform (sawtooth) is needed?!  ???

outlaw,
I've been digging through stan's stuff trying to find this in the circuit.  Please help me find this -side pulse connection. I found these.
Earth
(Ground)  A connection to earth. For many electronic circuits this is the 0V (zero volts) of the power supply, but for mains electricity and some radio circuits it really means the earth. It is also known as ground.
