vic winding arangment and current
« on: February 25, 2011, 23:29:44 pm »
I made this drawing so i can draw arrows of current direction for the conductor (copper wire) and the inductor core...

This is a way to look at how the electrical current of the series arrangement  is interacting with the inductive current.. since you can draw little arrows to represent current directions in the core and the wires

You will notice that the inductance of the positive and negative choke is trying to create inductive current in opposite directions..

what happens when 2 chokes are electrically being induced in opposite directions on the same linear core setting side by side?

what happens when trying to pump electrons inductivly  in opposite directions ? does the core material between the to chokes become positively charged?

if so what would happen when you switch off primary?

would electrons not implode into the spot you just removed them from.??

what happens when negative charges implode into a positive charged domain from 2 different sides?
could this be the electron bounce phenomenon?

@Outlawst,
Also it would be nice to see where the Dot Conventions are of the coils.
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dot_convention?wasRedirected=true

Current directions and magnetic field. (left hand rule)
Voltage Polarity...

Left to right wound or right to left wound bobbin coil on the UU core CW or CCW?

i made this copy for people to print out and fill in how the see the coil reacting during on time and off time...

The way the wires are wound matches stan figure used in his control and driver circuit patent..

Feel free to add to my blank copy and repost on this thread..

Stans vic it looks like he wound back and forth so i don't think it maters which direction it is wound when it comes to left or right..

When winding a inductor back and forth on a core it is getting thicker.. the wire/ winds are getting further away from the core..

So if you were to wind one clockwise  its truly wound both ways the only difference is the counter clockwise turn begins on the exterior and works its way into toward the core.. while clockwise begins on the inner and works its way to the exterior..
